How to use 3CX Web Client

Using the 3cx webclient is easy and most of all very useful.

To access the webclient simply request a welcome email from within your 3cx pbx management console If you do not have access to the management console ask your system administrator.

Welcome Email

You will receive an email much like this one, click on the link for “Out of Office “, if listed. you will use your extension as the username, and your password will be in this email.

Webclient Interface

To start an audio call with a colleague click on the phone icon. Microphone is required, headsets with microphone not required, however for privacy , 3cx only supports Sennheiser.
To start an Video call with a colleague click on the camera icon. Microphone and webcam are required, headsets with microphone not required, however for privacy , 3cx only supports Sennheiser.
To start an chat with a colleague click on the chat bubble icon.

WebMeeting Interface

Microphone and webcam are not required, headsets with microphone not required, however for privacy tools available within a WebMeeting are screen share, PDF share, whiteboard and a poll see below

Conference Interface

To schedule conference choose audio or video, and select later, Subject, WebMeeting Profile, notes if any. if Webinar (Classroom) you can send emails to any participants, this will send a schedule to participants as well as a link to join.
